Rhino HMS Screwgate
Description
The Rhino's horn prevents belay devices from working their way round the top bar and onto the spine, minimising the chance of cross-loading.
The round top bar gives smooth and predictable rope control, while the flat bottom sits well in belay loops, encouraging the Rhino to load in its strongest orientation.

The Rhino Screw-gate by DMM has many features including:
Offset D shaped carabiners encourage loading in their strongest orientation by forcing loads towards the carabiners spine.
The horn on the top of its spine further prevents cross loading by stopping assisted braking devices and rope controllers from twisting around the spine of the carabiner.
The flat base helps the Rhino sit in your belay loop easily and in the correct orientation.
A clean internal profile to the carabiner's nose means it wont catch on gear or bolts, yet it still provides full strength thanks to it's nose slotting into a groove in the gate.
